"Coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy: a quick-n-comprehensive overview of the past, present, and future"

Dr. Ariunbold Gombojav
Mississippi State University

In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the state-of-art ultrafast coherent Raman spectroscopy. First, I introduce coherent Raman spectroscopy from the easiest approach based on exact solutions in their closed forms. Armed with this simple and intuitive theoretical background, I will go over the most important experiments demonstrating the key features of this fascinating and yet, powerful spectroscopic technique. Finally, I will discuss the capabilities of possible long-term joint research between the coherent Raman spectroscopic groups of the Texas A&M and Mississippi State Universities.
