TITLE: Phase matching inside Kagome fiber in CARS experiment
We report extended CARS interaction length inside a Kagome fiber. By changing the type of the gas and its pressure inside the Kagome fiber, we can achieve phase-matching condition for CARS throughout fiber propagation, which can be used for gas sensing. I will discuss and compare the theoretical phase matching results for the fiber filled with several inert gases, as well as with nitrogen and air. I will also talk about the experimental setup needed to fill the fiber with the gas.

TITLE: Focusing light with orbital angular momentum by circular array antenna
The group has experimentally demonstrated focusing of light with orbital angular momentum (OAM) using an 8-element circular array of linear antennas. The beam size is reduced by a factor of 3.4 0.2. This method will enable deep subwavelength focusing of light with OAM and eliminate the obstacle for the observation of the dipole forbidden transition with finite OAM of the vortex beam.
