"Interference in AT and EIT closed three-level systems: theory and experiment simulation"

By using dressed states, we show that the quantum interference in the electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) system is the interference of spontaneous emission quenching, which is determined by the decay rates. The mechanism of the destructive and constructive interference is the correlation and anti-correlation of the random phase fluctuation of the two addressed state induced by the strong coupling field. We show that the equations for the EIT are the same as the equations for two coupled modes. We experimentally simulate the dependence of the EIT interference in the closed three-level system on the decay rates.
