The IQSE Summer School at Casper College for non-TAMU/IQSE personnel
Welcome to the IQSE Summer School at Casper College, Casper, Wyoming, from July15-26, 2024 for faculty, post docs, graduate students and advanced undergraduates:
- Travel to Casper, Wyoming is available via Interstate 25 about four hours north of Denver, Colorado. The College is near the foot of Casper Mountain at 125 College Dr., Casper, WY 82601. See the College campus map at the link, below. Also, Casper is served by air via Casper-Natrona County International Airport (CPR). Notify Bob Brick at 979-571-5186 or rbrick@tamu.edu of your Casper airport arrival and departure dates and times so that he can provide transportation if needed.
- Lodging and dining for the IQSE Quantum Science Summer School will be provided in the Casper College Residence Hall and the Tobin Dining Hall. (See link below to reserve a room.) The Residence Hall does not provide sheets, blanket, pillow, etc., or personal items like toothpaste or soap, so participants must bring their own such items. Shopping is available nearby, if needed.
Participants’ institutions will be billed by the College for room and board charges following the program. Residence Hall charges are $50/day for single occupancy or $30/person/day for double occupancy. Food service charges are $60/person/day. - Registration for the IQSE Summer School is at the link, below. If you plan to make a presentation in the Summer School, notify Dr. Anatoly Svidzinsky at asvid@physics.tamu.edu of the dates of your participation and a tentative title. He will schedule you in the program and provide guidance for submitting an abstract.
